The shop consisted of 1 manual lathe. 1975 - Moved into first non-residential building on Tusculum Steet in Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia... right down the block from a movie being filmed about an Italian boxer. 1980-1989![]() 1980 - Acquired first CNC machine. 1982 - Certified as an SDB by the US Small Business Administration(SBA). 1985 - Acquired first Lab CMM. 1985 - Moved into a 5k sq ft facility in Langhorne, PA. Additions to the Langhorne facility increased size to 17k sq ft by 2009. 1990-1999![]() 1996 - Introduced barcode scanning and job tracking via an internally engineered MRP system that represents D&R's first step towards Lean Manufacturing. 1998 - Graduated from SBA 8(a) program and earned the SBA supplier of the year award for the Philadelphia region. 1999 - Acquired Vala Machine. 2000-2009![]() 2005 - Aquired first Shop Floor CMM. 2007 - Aquired first 5-Axis CNC Mill. 2007 - Certified to SAE AS9100B & ISO9001:2000 2009 - Relocated to a newly renovated 41k sq ft facility in Southampton, PA. 2010 & Beyond
